這不是我寫的歌詞, 是Belly Joel 的義大利的一景Sence for am Italian Restaurant.
這首歌很長約6分半, 收音機也很少播放. 就算1980年代的ICRT 都很少放,不像Piano man, 或 Uptown Girl 那麼出名, 不過有趣的是這首個轉調三次, 歌中的男女主角從學生時代, 唱到成家立業, 生小孩.
真是有趣.
試著想像, 當妳三四十歲時, 回到舊時最熟悉的義大利餐廳, 坐在街邊的大玻璃窗旁, 最熟悉的位子, 收手轉著杯子, 妳最熟悉的她, 走向你, 在你的的對面坐下...
