擺在最上面的，是一張要給“大頭”的生日卡片，卡片的最末沒有署名，但我知道那是你，我想起你最後寫來的那些再不能更客套的話，即使是這樣的結局，我還是很高興，曾經擁有一個如此懂得我的朋友。
一疊聖誕卡片的中間，夾著一封快被遺忘的情人節的信，聞起來，像一顆不會過期的糖果。這些年就這樣過去了，而我看著你寫下的字句，閉上眼睛，就回到那個糖果味道的冬天，即使信紙上描繪的那個未來，已經永遠變成了童話故事，我卻多麼感謝你給我的一切。而我什麼時候才有勇氣跟你說一聲對不起？
沒有一一打開每封信，怕這樣又要揮霍掉一整個晚上，只是看著信封上的地址與字跡，揣摩著收藏在信封裡的過去，還有當時為我寄出這些回憶的你或妳。
2004年剛剛走過的一個寒冷的夜晚，我想念那個依靠魚雁往返維繫情誼的最後的年代，想念那幾年曾經陪著我度過聖誕老人節，瘋過跨年人擠人的你們。
