屏東林管處一○五年度社區植樹綠美化模範社區出爐！由「高雄市美濃區中圳社區現省發展協會」榮獲全國模範社區；「高雄市田寮區古亭社區發展協會」榮獲林管處模範社區。
屏東林管處說，高雄市美濃區中圳社區當地以盛產白玉蘿蔔聞名，社區於當地信仰中心伯公廟旁閒置空地，營造「特惠伯公生態花園」，並融入客家文物紙傘等，除供當地居民體驗一日農夫及遊客休憩使用外，更讓人感受當地文化氣息，是一處結合農村鄉土、人文及生態公園化的社區。
高雄市田寮區古亭社區因青灰岩地形而盛名，泥岩本身顆粒細小，且膠結性十分疏鬆，透水性又低，導致植物生長相當困難。社區利用客土技術克服惡地障礙，並以當地盛產竹材為主題，結合生態池概念，規劃「古亭社區吉田園」，是一處具竹材文化的生態花園。
屏東林管處表示，澎湖縣、高雄市、屏東縣有興趣參加社區植樹綠美化的社區團體，可向該處申請社區植樹綠美化計畫，每次申請最高可補助八萬元破盤。
