國璽進駐國家生技園區 開發罕病細胞治療新藥

國璽集團（6704）5月31日與國家生技研究園區創服育成中心（以下簡稱國家生技園區）簽訂進駐契約，正式成立國家生技園區先進醫療產品實驗室，加速多發性硬化症細胞治療新藥研究與開發。
多發性硬化症是一種與自體免疫系統異常相關的罕見疾病，實際發生的原因不明，常會造成中樞神經系統慢性發炎，造成神經髓鞘（Myelin）受到破壞，以至於神經訊息傳遞變慢甚至停止。
此外，在受損髓鞘的修復過程中，神經膠質細胞會過度增生而硬化，使患者出現痙攣、無力、麻木與刺痛等症狀，隨著病程的進展，病況會持續復發並惡化。統計至2013年全球患病人數已達到約230萬人，盛行率以北美最高。此疾病在台灣目前屬於罕見疾病，2016年就診人數約為2千5百人，然而，這些患者的治療僅能利用藥物減少症狀與減慢疾病進展，並未有有效的藥物可以治癒。
國璽集團今年初與中研院授權「利用小分子重編程體細胞產生少突膠質譜系胞」技術，該技術以高通量篩選平台，分析出可將皮膚纖維細胞分化為少突膠質細胞（Oligodendrocyte）的小分子藥物，初步結果證實只需三天便可達到70％分化率，有機會應用於多發性硬化症的治療。
為了臨床應用的推動，國璽申請進駐國家生技園區，並成立「國家生技園區先進醫療產品實驗室」，將透過國璽「醫藥級幹細胞製劑生產技術平台」技術進行製程開發，結合國家生技園區內包括：國家實驗動物中心、生物技術開發中心、衛生福利部食品藥物管理署等資源，凝聚產、學、研及法規之專業，開發出符合臨床治療規格藥物，滿足未被滿足之醫藥需求（Unmet medical need）。
國璽集團的「醫藥級幹細胞製劑生產技術平台」，將人類幹細胞之採集、分離、培養、包裝、檢驗、運送及應用程序標準化，所有過程均符合人體細胞組織優良操作規範，目前已成功推動三項幹細胞新藥（肝硬化幹細胞新藥清肝淨-GXHPC1、腦中風幹細胞新藥思益優-GXNPC1、退化性關節炎新藥軟實立-GXCPC1）進入人體臨床試驗。
