於 潮濕、無人工光源、無農藥使用、無污染之自然環境。光色為黃綠色，拍起來也是黃綠色，但是現場看螢火蟲的光色溫更高(光色比較白)，看起來就更天上星星一 樣，一閃一閃的很美。螢火蟲體內有一種腺體螢光素，經由螢光酵素的氧化作用所產生螢光，閃著特定的節奏，就像是彼此在互相通訊息，雄蟲利用亮光找尋雌蟲， 進而達成交尾的目的。

碳中和樂園每日僅供100位民眾入園參觀及賞螢，須要先預約，另外園區蚊蟲蛇類多，所以不要超越紅色的警戒線，不要製造光害(拍照不開閃光燈)，如要使用手電筒請用紅色玻璃紙包裹燈源。光線的照射會影響螢火蟲的繁殖。

怎麼拍螢火蟲呢？黑暗中，需要腳架，快門線，手動對焦(對多遠自己評估)，下面拍的都是感光度ISO400，光圈F2.0，曝光一分鐘到三分鐘不等。千萬 不要用閃光燈或補助對焦燈，除了會影響生態，還可能被隔壁曝光中的大叔罵喔！拍攝時機約為傍晚六點半到七點半，太陽下山後大量出現，極大值出現約一小時， 之後到天亮前只有零星出現，所以要把握天剛變黑的時機。
