Ray Charles Robinson, a legendary musician who had a long life and tremendous work of all time! I over heard his music from ICRT back in the day with my parents. Although I had no idea of what he had said in the lyrics nor the story but rhythm with amazing piano notes. Thanx to my mom an dpop that gave me some preview of Music in the early days and having me to listen to ICRT all the time!!! I believe that was the time that I was attracted to American(Western) music and culture.
Ray's mother was a hard working lady from a crop shack in South Florida. She did her best trying to bring up two children of hers. Unfortuntely Ray's young brother died of drawning when they're little(according to the movie) and Ray lost his eye sight when he reached age of four. But through all the hardship and barrier, Ray became strong and used his talent to shine. But he didn't go with his mother's way, he still became a cripple, he's addicted to drug.
Because he lost his sight when he's four and that's why he still remember how things look like and how light can be. Deep down his mind, he's afraid of dark in any way. And because of he got cheated by his early partner in his begin of his glory day. He's annal about people would cheat because he's blind.
Go, go see themovie and you feel something different and something similar to me. if you go~
Jaime Foxx is one good actor and hope he can win or be nominated by Oscar this year!
